Dallas Medical Malpractice Attorney

Attorneys in Chaves County, NM, and Texas

The attorneys of The Perrin Law Firm have more than two decades of experience representing clients in the areas of medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and personal injury and insurance litigation. We are totally committed to helping people who have been injured through the negligence or wrongdoing of others. As a small family firm, we understand the challenges people face when going up against larger, more powerful corporations and firms, and we are committed to giving our clients the time and attention they deserve. Since its inception in 2005, the malpractice attorneys of The Perrin Law Firm have handled hundreds of cases in the Dallas-Forth Worth, TX and Santa Fe, Roswell and Las Cruces, NM areas.

Doug Perrin

Doug is a Law Review graduate of Texas Tech Law School who had a solo practice for ten years before joining his brother and forming The Perrin Firm in 2005. Doug also has previous experience working at law firms in Dallas, Roswell, and Santa Fe, where he concentrated on medical and legal malpractice cases and personal injury litigation. A staunch advocate of clients’ rights, as a Chaves County and Dallas medical malpractice attorney, Doug has aggressively challenged recently imposed “cap laws” in Texas and New Mexico and has won verdicts in cases exceeding those limits—most notably a personal injury case involving a woman injured outside a convenience store in New Mexico, a $2,250, 000 legal malpractice case in Lubbock, Texas, and a $1,000,000 award granted for a medical malpractice case in Las Cruces, NM. Doug also represented the plaintiff in the original 1989 case in New Mexico that found damage caps unconstitutional in any context, and during the past 15 years he has established himself as one of the leading medical malpractice attorneys in Dallas and Chaves County.

J. Mark Perrin

Mark was tabbed as a SuperLawyers Rising Star in 2010 for his work as one of the leading young Dallas medical malpractice attorneys. Before forming The Perrin Law Firm with his brother Doug in 2005, Mark was an associate with Jackson Walker, L.L.P. from 2000–2004. He graduated magna cum laude while serving as a member of the Law Review at Texas Tech University School of Law and, like his brother, Mark is committed to protecting the rights of his clients in the areas of medical and legal malpractice, and personal injury and insurance litigation. In five short years at The Perrin Law Firm, Mark has joined with Doug to win his clients fair and well-compensated verdicts, including a $950,000 medical malpractice verdict involving the death of a woman in Silver City, NM and a $500,000 wrongful death verdict of a 71-year old woman in Roswell, NM.
